The band performs at many displays, carnivals and ceremonial events all over the West Country including Plymouth Armed Forces Week, November ceremonies and various shows in the Plymouth Guildhall, the Pavilions and the Royal Citadel.
The band has a membership of 30 originating from all over the United Kingdom. There are a number of new members undergoing tuition in the pipes and drums.
The band is under the leadership of Pipe Major Gordon Macaoidh assisted by Pipe Sergeant Eddie Campbell, Drum Sergeant James Scanlon and Band Secretary, Peter J McLachlan.
The Band is particularly anxious to hear from new or experienced pipers and drummers, male or female of all ages, who would like to join this growing and highly successful band now carrying on the great tradition of piping and drumming at Plymouth.
